Are you a middle or high school student with a big dream? Do you have a passion project that you want to start or complete? Do you desire to be a more effective team/club leader?
Look no further! PM Ready is thrilled to announce our exciting virtual summer camp!
Why project management for youth?
Our lives are full of projects, no matter who we are - organizing a meeting or fundraising event for your student club, planning a concert at a senior care center, starting a book club or another business, etc. Projects drive our economy and the academic, social-emotional, and leadership development of our youth - tomorrow's project contributors and changemakers. However, project management, as a transformative mindset and a transferable skill, is not typically taught at school, at least not in a systematic way.
What the camp is?
PM Ready’s Project Management for Youth virtual summer camp is the first camp of this kind that provides a focused space to equip youth with this transferrable skill, an inclusive community to empower youth to see themselves as changemakers, and a network of mentorship and peer learning to develop future leaders.
How is the camp structured?
This virtual two-week camp will be an incredible journey where students of all backgrounds will discover the power of leadership and entrepreneurship through project management! Through a combination of asynchronous learning, synchronous meetings, and post-camp engagement, students will gain practical skills that align with their personal aspirations, academic pursuits, and future professional ambitions.
Why this camp with PM Ready?
Unlock Potentials - Explore the exciting world of project management and learn how to turn ideas into impactful projects.
Grow Networks - Connect with industry experts and youth leaders who come from diverse backgrounds.
Stand Out Among Peers - Strengthen college or internship application by adding the camp certificate to the resume.
Prepare to Get Certified - Join the post-camp community to prepare for the Project Management Ready® certification.
Access Mentorship - Get motivation and guidance after the camp from a PM Ready youth mentor to work on a long-term project.
